The maker of home phones, itel has added a new member to its line of smartphones in the country called S41. reaching the fascia of the phone, the S41 has been granted with a screen IPS of 5 inches, which has a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The screen also features 2.5D curved glass laminate. Under the hood, the handset has a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor backed by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
The graphics processing is run by a Mali 720 GPU. In the camera department, the handset has been equipped with an 8-megapixel front and rear panel. In addition, both cameras have been accompanied by LED flash units. The Android Nougat running the smartphone is powered by a 2,700mAh battery. The S41 itel also brings 4G, VoLTE, ViLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB ports in terms of connectivity. The multifunction fingerprint scanner on the back panel can click on selfies, answer / record calls, assign five different applications to different fingers to get you started quickly and take a screenshot as well.
Sudhir Kumar, CEO, itel and Spice Devices commented on the launch saying: "By providing smartphone owners with a wealth of features at such a competitive price in the aggressive off-line space backed by a superior service offer , S41 emerges as a winner in the category ".
The phone is priced at Rs 6,990 and can be picked from select stores across the country. Users have the option of choosing the phone in dark gray or black obsidian tones.
