Intex launched Aqua 5.5 VR+ for Rs 5,799

Intex launched the VR-ready Aqua 5.5 VR + smartphone in India, with big brands in the AR and VR (including ASUS and Apple), it seems that these technologies are the next big things to keep in mind. However, most smartphones with support for these are in the mid-range or high range of the spectrum. Intex comes to the rescue for those who are on a tight budget and want to experience Virtual Reality as well. The brand has recently launched its new budget mobile phone called the Aqua 5.5 VR +, which turns out to be the cheapest VR mobile phone right now.

Coming to specifications the Aqua 5.5 VR+ features a huge 5.5 inch HD IPS screen, which should fit most of the VR headphones on the market. The phone runs Android Nougat out of the box and has a 1.25GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor in its core to boost performance. The SoC has been coupled to 2 GB of RAM. The 16 GB onboard storage on this device can be expanded by another 64 GB. In the optics department, the phone has a 8-megapixel snapper on the back with a dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel front with LED flash. The smartphone immerses the power needed to operate from a 2.800mAh battery.

The phone is already available in Flipkart exclusively and can be yours for Rs 5,799. Note that the mark is only offering a single tone on the handset, viz. Champagne.
