Huawei’s sub-brand Honor launching Honor 7X in India on December 5th

Earlier this month, the Huawei sub-brand, Honor, announced it would launch the Honor 7X smartphone in India in December. The pre-registrations for the phone are already live on Amazon India, where they will be sold exclusively. Now, Honor has announced through its Twitter account that the 7X will be launched in the country on December 5. The company is organizing an event in London to launch the device worldwide and for the Indian market. The event will be broadcast live on the official Facebook page of the brand at 8 pm.




The Honor 7X was presented in China last month as a mid-range offer. The phone has a completely metallic monobloc design with a fingerprint sensor mounted on the back. The device comes with a 5.93-inch HD + screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9, thin bevels and a 2.5D curved glass on top. Performance management is a Hi-Silicon Kirin 659 octa-core 64-bit processor, combined with 4 GB of RAM. The phone comes in three storage variants: 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, which also accept microSD cards up to 256 GB in size.

The camera department in the Honor 7X includes a dual camera configuration on the back that comprises a primary snap of 16 megapixels, coupled to a secondary trigger of 2 megapixels. For selfies and video calls, the phone has an 8 megapixel shooter. In terms of connectivity, the device offers dual SIM, 4G LTE, VoLTE (voice over LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS slots. A 3,340 mAh battery with fast charging support keeps the phone running. As far as software is concerned, the mobile phone starts Android 7.1 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 running at the top.




In China, the Honor 7X has a price of around Rs 13,000 for the 32GB model, and around Rs 17,000 for the 64GB variant. The 128 GB model of the phone is available in the country for around Rs 20,000.
