Nokia 5 will be available to buy through online retail stores in more than 10 major cities across India on Independence Day, on August 15. HMD Global confirmed retail availability earlier this week. To remember, the smartphone was launched in the country in June, and was up for pre-bookings in India last month in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow , Mumbai, and Pune.
Nokia 5 priced at Rs.12,499 in India, and the smartphone is only available in a single RAM and storage SKU. At launch, the Nokia 5 will go on sale in a matt black variant only. Copper, silver and tempered blue will eventually go on sale. HMD Global has listed launch offers as a Vodafone data packet from 5GB to Rs. 149 per month (for 3 months) and Rs. 2,500 discount (Rs 1,800 in hotels and Rs.700 in domestic flights) on Makemytrip.com.
