Xiaomi Mi5 which is likely to be announced on January 21 was seen today in a site of e-commerce retailer. Since then, the page has been lowered, but the announcement has revealed some important specifications of the phone.
According to the website e-retail GearBest the phone appears, Xiaomi Mi5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC. This new SoC Qualcomm has been in the news lately for its new design and architecture. The Snapdragon 820 is a quad-core SoC is manufactured using 14nm FinFET technology. Moreover, this is the first time will use Qualcomm Kryo their cores as cores instead of ARM-based processors. This year is likely to see a number of flagship phones powered by the Snapdragon 820.
Xiaomi returning to MI5, the list suggested that the smartphone will have a 5.2 inch screen offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440p. It will have 4 GB of RAM and while the price was 16GB onboard storage, the company is expected to bring another variant of the phone more storage capacity, probably 64GB. It is expected the phone to get a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash. If the phone will OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer), is still unclear. The front camera is suggested to be an 8MP one, can hold a battery of 3600mAh
