Samsung has launched one of the most anticipated devices, the Galaxy S6 Edge + in India at a ceremony in New Delhi today. The company has launched the Galaxy S6 Edge + last week during his Galaxy unpacked 2,015 event with the Galaxy Note 5. Judging by recent reports, note 5 is likely to be launched soon.
In terms of specifications, the device sports a double-edged screen with a qHD Super AMOLED 5.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, with a pixel density of 515ppi. It is powered by aa 64-bit processor octa-core Exynos 7420 paired with 4GB of RAM memory LPDDR4.
The device has a 16MP rear camera with OIS with a front camera of 5 megapixels. The smartphone based on Android 5.1 Lollipop variants will be offered in 32GB and 64GB storage and does not include a microSD card slot. Samsung will also be providing 100 GB of storage in the cloud onedrive free.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac, GPS / A-GPS, and Micro-USB 2.0. It also includes a non-removable 3000mAh battery.
32 GB variant Galaxy S6 Edge + is priced at Rs 57,900 while the 64 GB variant has been a failure, for now. The smartphone will go on sale on August 28, while pre-orders open from Wednesday. The device is available in Pearl White, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and titanium silver variants.
