Smartphones 5000 mAh battery is not new. Gionee has done it twice with their smartphones Marathon M3 and M4. India Celkon own some time ago also brought the Millennia Q5K with 5000 mAh battery. Several other manufacturers, both desi and foreign, brought smartphones with 3000 or 4000 mAh battery including Lenovo.
Now, a new Lenovo phone, called Vibe P1, was seen on the website of a Chinese retailer that offers a huge 5000 mAh battery for $ 309.99 or approximately 20,468 RS. According to the profile, the smartphone has the latest Android 5.1 operating system with user interface Vibe. It has 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage, and octa core Snapdragon 615 processor.
The Lenovo Vibe P1 has dual SIM with dual standby and 4G connectivity. Its 5.5-inch IPS display offers full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels). In addition, the phone offers expandable storage slot capacity of 128 GB. It offers a 5 megapixel front camera and a rear camera of 13 megapixels.Besides the Lenovo Vibe P1 has Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, and micro USB port with OTG functionality. The list, but says nothing about the release of its 5000 mAh battery. No word yet from Lenovo with the launch of Vibe P1 in India.
