Apple will host an event in the US this September 9, for which it has already sent invitations to various media organizations. It is now being widely speculated that the company will launch its smartphones next generation iPhone series and probably iPad.
Note that every year in the period from September to October, Apple receives such events in announcing their devices. IPhone 4S was announced in October 2011, while in September 2012, Apple announced the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 were released in September 2013 and September 2014, respectively. So the story goes, a new iPhone can surely expect in the event this year as well. Meanwhile, the gossip mills are rife with rumors about the new iPhone.
Last year the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was. So this year, it is expected that the announced phones like iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus named Beside, there were rumors about a larger iPad also for professionals.
A cheaper version of iPhone, supposedly named as iPhone 6c, with a 4-inch screen is also reported. However, new reports claim that this cheaper version can not be released this year. Meanwhile, 9to5Mac said citing sources claimed that Apple could discontinue the iPhone 5C model.
