Videocon launched Z55 Dash at Rs 6,490 in India

Videocon has introduced a new smartphone on the market called Z55 Dash, which has become locally under the 'Make in India' initiative. The smartphone, which has been designed in India, will be available through Flipkart at a price of Rs 6490. It will be available in Black / White and variants of white / chrome color.

In terms of specifications, the device features an HD IPS screen 5-inch X Dragontrail glass with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.4GHz processor paired octa-core 1 GB of RAM. It includes an internal memory of 8 GB and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.The Videocon Z55 Dash comes equipped with a rear 8MP camera with LED flash and front camera 5MP.

The rear camera lens is said to be made of Corning Glass with "double anti-reflective coating '. The device based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat includes connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro USB, GPRS / EDGE, GPS / A-GPS and 3G. 2200mAh battery complete the package.
