Huawei has launched its new smartphone called Honor 7i at an event in China today. The device is now available for pre-order for a starting price tag of 1,599 yuan (16,400 rupees) (Mobile Version of China). China Telecom version is priced at 1,699 yuan (Rs 17,500) while China Unicom version is priced at 1899 Yuan (Rs 19,500). It will be offered in Black, White and Gold variants of color.
In terms of specifications, the new smartphone features a 5.2-inch FHD LCD display screen along with a mass ratio of 79.8 percent. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor 64-bit octa-core, reportedly stable both energy consumption and lower than its previous, along with 3 GB of RAM and generation includes an internal memory of 32 GB.
The Huawei Honor 7i comes equipped with a 13MP camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. It includes features such as swivel lens, Geo-tagging and touch focus. Huawei claims that users do not have to worry about the flip-up camera as its extremely robust and reliable. It is said that even if used flip-up camera module 132 times a day, yet will last for up to 2 years.
The device has 4G LTE, dual SIM functionality, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC. Lollipop based Android device running on top Emotion UI will be backed up by a battery of 3100mAh.
