The OnePlus 2 has been quite the tease. The team has been keeping us on our toes in recent months, the disclosure of information one bit at a time. Most of the specifications revealed sound quite interesting, but also slightly disconcerting fact that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC.
Such chipset is an important market failure and still suffers from problems of overheating and serious strangulation. However, the OnePlus team has promised that the model has been decided to use a new version 2.1 and no longer suffers from the problems. We are willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but certainly try to be nice. Today gives us a score filtering AnTuTu benchmark that allegedly shows the OnePlus two (A2001) using the new Snapdragon 810 to full capacity.
The exact score is 63 719 points, which could be the best performance we've seen from the current top of the line Qualcomm chip, even better than in the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.
Note that AnTuTu is by no means easy reference CPU and lots of other hardware and software factors can affect the overall score. What most of us are really hoping for is that the OnePlus 2 is free from unpleasant overheating problems, which could be devastating to the success of the handset.
For the rest of the sheet OnePlus 2 specifications, we now know that it will use a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and 515 ppi density. The configuration of the camera is a 16MP primary camera with Sony Exmor Mr. IMX 234 and a front of one of 5MP. The manufacturer confirmed 4 GB of RAM and LPDD4 includes dual SIM support, too.
