Finally OnePlus One gets Oxygen OS


OnePlus One users can rejoice as the accumulation of oxygen eagerly-anticipated OS is finally here. The official package can now be downloaded from the website OnePlus and shone on the legendary One handset.

The custom ROM based on Android had a long and bumpy ride, but one thing is for sure has come a long way thanks to the love and attention to detail OnePlus extensive community. What originally began as an escape plan CyanogenMod, has been built, despite numerous setbacks and delays, in what is now an Android 5.0.2 build Lollipop operation, complete with a number of custom features, carefully selected by the community.

Oxygen OS is built around the ideal of open source and offers an almost pure stock Android experience, highly optimized for the hardware OnePlus One and complete with custom gestures, customization and numerous small details, craftsman with great care.

The building was originally scheduled for March 27 and did not quite manage to meet the deadline, mainly due to problems with the certification of Google. Since then, the team has been giving OnePlus active status updates to avid users and even giving away phones to make the wait. Today, the air has an oxygen finally clear operating system is fully certified and be easily updated over the air in the future.
