Micromax reportedly launching Bharat 5 for Rs 6,999 on December 1st


The brand has sent invitations to the media for the launch event of the device on December 1. Micromax launched the Bharat phone series in India to compete in the entry-level VoLTE segment. In September, the brand launched Micromax Bharat 2 Plus, Bharat 3 and Bharat 4. Now, if you want to believe a report from Phoneradar, the brand will soon launch the next device in the Bharat series: Bharat 5.




The main highlight of the phone would be the 5,000 mAh battery with support for reverse charging. This means that, if necessary, users can load other devices with Bharat 5. In addition, the brand claims that the battery can offer 27 hours of talk time and lasts up to 500 hours in standby mode. Turning to other specifications, coated in a polycarbonate body, the Bharat 5 comes with a 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and a brightness of 400 nits.




On the performance front, there is a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core and 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled to one gig of RAM. There is also 16 GB of storage on board, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with a microSD card. To obtain images, there is a 5 megapixel snapper on the front and rear panel, with aperture f / 2.2. It runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system from the factory and comes with support for 22 regional languages ​​just like its brothers in the Bharat series. On the connectivity front, we have 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack and a micro-USB 2.0 port.
