Earlier this year, in June, InFocus, based in the United States, launched the Turbo 5 smartphone in India. The phone came in two variants of RAM, including 2GB and 3GB, which had a price of Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999. Now, the company has reduced the price of the 2GB Turbo 5 model by 500 rupees in the country for a limited period until November 30. The device is available with the reduced price of Rs 6,499 in Amazon India. The device comes bundled with 45GB of free data for five months for Vodafone prepaid subscribers.
For the uninitiated, the InFocus Turbo 5 is an affordable offering with a premium metal finish design, a fingerprint sensor on the back and a 2.5D curved glass on top of the screen. The highlight of the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood, which according to the company can offer two days of regular use and supports USB OTG. The budget offer also comes with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity options (voice over LTE).
The InFocus Turbo 5 features a 5.2-inch HD IPS screen and launches Android Nougat from the factory. The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core 1.3 GHz processor coupled to a Mali T720 graphics processing unit. The storage variants include - 16GB and 32GB. The camera department includes a 13-megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash and a 5-megapixel self-timer. In addition to 4G and VoLTE, the other connectivity features include dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS slots.
