Earlier this year, in March, Coolpad launched its VFM offering: the Coolpad Note 5 Lite in India. The smartphone was the successor of the Coolpad Note 5, which was launched in September 2016. Now, the brand has followed and launched a new variant of Note 5 Lite with double storage and no changes to the specification sheet.
To remember, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite comes with a 5-inch HD screen and 2.5D scratch-resistant glass for protection. Its performance with a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor at 1 GHz that has been coupled to a Mali 450 GPU combined with 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage in the regular variant, the new release includes 32 GB of space, which can be expand using a microSD card up to 64GB. In the imaging department, the smartphone obtains a 13-megapixel primary snapper with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera with a dedicated selfie flash for low-light images.
Out of the box, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow with its patented Cool UI 8.0. There is a 2,500 mAh battery that powers the phone and Coolpad claims that it offers a waiting time of up to 200 hours. For connectivity, the device has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, OTG and dual SIM. There is a fingerprint scanner on the back panel, which in addition to unlocking the device, can also be used to make / receive or record calls, open applications and capture images.
The last variant of the phone has the same price as the normal variant: Rs 8,199 and can be collected exclusively from Amazon India. Coolpad offers the smartphone in three tones: gold, real gold and gray.
