Bharti Airtel, in partnership with Karbonn Mobiles, announced the launch of two new Android-enabled 4G smartphones at the price of a feature phone. A statement from the company said that the 'A1 Indian' 4G smartphone will be available at an effective price of Rs 1,799 compared to MRP of Rs 4,390 and the 'A41 Power' will have an effective price of Rs 1,849 compared to MRP of Rs 4.290.
Both devices come with a 4-inch touch screen, 1 GB of RAM, Dual SIM slots and dual camera along with a variety of features. 4G smartphones, which are certified by Google, work with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and offer full access to all applications in the Google Play Store, including YouTube, Facebook and WhatsApp.
For the 4G 'A1 Indian' smartphone, the customer must make an initial payment of Rs 3,299 and for the 4G 'A41 Power' smartphone, the initial payment is 3,349 rupees. Customers must make 36 continuous monthly refills of the Rs 169 package from Airtel. The customer will get a cash refund of Rs 500 after 18 months and another Rs. 1,000 after 36 months, bringing the total cash benefit of Rs 1,500.
In case the client does not want to opt for the Rs 169 plan, he / she has the flexibility to make refills of any denomination and validity according to the individual requirements, the statement said. "However, to claim the cash reimbursement benefit, the reloads of Rs 3,000 must be made within the first 18 months (to claim the first reimbursement fee of Rs 500) and another Rs 3,000 in the next 18 months ( to claim the second restitution of Rs 1,000), "he added.
