Logitech has announced a new keyboard case for the new 5th generation iPad. Called Slim Folio, the casing includes a full-sized keyboard with a mechanical key switch design with a 1.5 mm stroke and a row of iOS shortcut keys. Unfortunately, the keyboard is not backlit.
The case has two positions to rest the iPad: one at an angle to write, and one to lie flat to see or read. When closed, the case covers the entire iPad in a rough shell.
Perhaps the best part of the keyboard is the battery life. The Logitech Slim Folio is priced at $ 99.99 (approximately Rs 6,400). The Slim Folio has a duration of four years in the single-coin battery, which can be replaced. The keyboard uses Bluetooth LE to communicate with the iPad, which is known to be efficient. It is very likely that the battery will last longer than the length of most people keep their iPads.
