Xiaomi launched an electric folding bicycle called the Qicycle

Xiaomi may be known for its smartphones in India, but the company has a diverse product portfolio. Today, the company launched an electric folding bike called the Qicycle. With a price of Rs 30,700, the bike is made of carbon fiber and weighs seven kilos. It can also be folded so that it is small enough to fit inside the trunk of a car.

The cycle is driven by an electric motor with a battery 36V 250W 18650. The company says this is enough to make you go travel up to 45 kilometers. In addition, the cycle has a management system battery, which protects the battery from operating outside the safe operating area and monitors their status. The bike also has a team that allows the pilot knows fitness related details related to your trip, such as calories burned, distance traveled, and more. It is not yet known if and when the bike would be available outside China.
This is not the first time that Xiaomi has ventured into providing personal transportation vehicles. Already in October last year, the company launched the Ninebot Mini, an electric self-balancing scooter. The vehicle is capable of moving at a speed of 16 km go / hr and can travel about 22 kilometers on a single charge.
