Get ready for Nokia smartphones to be sold again in Europe. According to a new leak of Evan Blass (a.k.a. @ evleaks), the brand will introduce three new devices in MWC on February 26, one of which is quite surprising, to say the least.
The Nokia 6 was launched in China last month, and this will show up at the MWC event as well - where it will be announced for the European market. The Nokia 6 will be sold in Europe for € 249. It will join the new Nokia 5, with a touch screen of 5.2 inches of 720p, 2 GB of RAM and a main camera of 12 MP. It will be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC as the Nokia 6. The Nokia 5 will be sold for € 199. Moving further down to the low range, the Nokia 3 will be priced at € 149, although it is not clear what specifications will bring to the table.
These three Android models will join the new portfolio of Nokia for a "modern version of a classic workhorse of a phone function," a re-imagining of the 3310 from 2000. This cult classic is updated for 2017, but it still seems to be a feature phone. Will sell for € 59.
What is not yet known is whether or when these Nokia devices will be sold in North America. For now, the brand seems to focus only on Chinese and European markets.
