It looks like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro can get the Nougat update soon. The device running the latest version of Android (version 7.1.1) has been detected on the GFXBench benchmarking website, indicating that the company is testing the upgrade.
This happens just over a month after the overall variant of the phone began receiving the Marshmallow update. Unfortunately, there is currently no information on when exactly the Nougat update will be implemented. Here is the hope that the tests will run smoothly and the update comes sooner rather than later.
