Android Nougat 7.0 OTA zip files and factory images are now available

After the start of the deployment over-the-air update to Android 7.0 for nougat yesterday compatible devices, Google has now made images of factory and zip OTA files available for those who do not like to wait for the update notification.

This is not surprising in itself, since it is usual Google way of doing things. What is a little different than usual is that the company took a whole day to do this, and also that by the time of factory images and OTA zippers are only available for three of the compatible devices.

These are the HTC Nexus 9 (Wi-Fi only), Google Pixel C, and the Asus Nexus Player. There is still nothing for Huawei 6P Nexus, Nexus 5X LG, Motorola Nexus 6, or the version of LTE-capable Nexus 9.  It is clear that images of factory and zippers OTA for these are in the way, but it is unclear why it takes so long.
