From June Oppo is the leading brand of smartphones in China with a market share of 23%, followed by Huawei with 17.4% and 12% of Vivo. Apple's share in China has been reduced to 2014 levels by 9% share, and Xiaomi is on a tree-year low at 6.8%.
What is even more interesting is the growth of Oppo since June 2014. Already in 2014 Oppo was responsible for less than 2% of smartphones sold in China. By June 2015 Oppo participation has grown to 6.1%, and now it's up to a record high 22.9%.
The Oppo R9, sold elsewhere as Oppo F1 Plus is the most sold in June (5% market share) device. Oppo will be launching the F1s very soon and is expected to expand its market share further in August.
