A new report claiming that China has emerged smartphone Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship launched in two variants. According to recent data, one of the Mi 5 variants come with 2.5D curved glass on both sides (front and rear), while also a metal frame sports. The report adds that the 2.5D curved glass with Xiaomi Mi 5 model will feature a Full HD screen.
The second alleged Mi 5 variant, meanwhile, will feature full metal body and will sport a screen with QHD resolution. The report states that the two variants sport same screen size. No word if the two models have different options of RAM and storage.
An earlier report had said that the Mi 5 will come in two versions based on the RAM and storage. For pricing, the 32GB built-in storage and version 3 GB of RAM at a price of CNY 1,999 (approx Rs. 20,300), built-in 64GB storage, and RAM of 4 GB at a price of CNY 2,299 was said ( approx Rs. 23,400).
The Chinese company recently gave term release of MI 5 logo. The company said the Xiaomi Mi 5 launched after the Spring Festival, which begins this year on February 8, and lasts for 15 days. Some of the other confirmed details include the inclusion of 820 Snapdragon processor awaited.
On the front of the camera, Mi 5 is rumored to pack a 16-megapixel rear camera and a front camera of 13 megapixels. It is also assumed to be backed by a 3600mAh battery with fast charging 3.0 technology. The phone is said to run Android-based MIUI 6.0 7 marshmallow.
