Micromax Televentures subsidiary Yu announced that the smartphone Yu Yuphoria be available to buy without records in India from Tuesday to Thursday. The company in a press release revealed that the units to be released next week will open sale of 'Made in India' lot. Yu also announced that more than 100,000 'Made in India' Yuphoria smartphones will be available to consumers in open sale. As before, the Yuphoria smartphone will be available from the junior partner of the exclusive online company, Amazon India.
Priced at Rs. 6999, I cyanogen running OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop 12 and is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It has 16 GB of built-in storage. The SIM-based Yuphoria supports 4G and has accelerometer, ambient sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, and compass direction.
The Yuphoria sports a rear 8-megapixel camera with an f / 2.2 lens and the LED flash while offering a 5 megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 aperture. The connectivity options of the phone include LTE, 3G, GPRS / EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB. It is backed by a 2230mAh battery and weighs 143 grams.
The company also announced the news on his Twitter handle, and said, "Get ready for a triple dose of happiness #Yuphoria - Made in India". The tweet has a picture attached that read "No records, no time limits." An open sale for the Yuphoria smartphone means that they will not require consumers to sign up to buy the phone during the sale. The company, at the time of writing, had not revealed the number of units that will be on sale from Tuesday until Thursday.
