Sony has launched its latest flagship smartphone called Xperia Z3 +, priced at Rs. 55990. The smartphone will be available from Friday on-words. Sony had during the May launch unveiled a version of the dual SIM phone and the Sony Xperia Z3 + Dual, both smartphones have identical specifications except for support for two SIM cards. The Sony Xperia Z3 + measures 146x72x6.9mm and weighs 144 grams. Connectivity features in the Xperia Z3 + include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi with hotspot, 4G LTE, GPS / A-GPS, Glonass, Micro-USB, DLNA and NFC.
The Sony Xperia Z3 + is identical to Japan only Sony Xperia Z4, which was released in April, and is the global variant of smart phones with a launch in late May. The smartphone is a minor update of the Xperia Z3, and besides being thinner and lighter, also sports the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. The Sony Xperia Z3 + runes on Android 5.0 Lollipop features a Triluminos screen is powered by the engine in motion picture X-Reality 5.2-inch Full HD (1080x1920 pixels). the Xperia Z3 + runs on a (quad-core 2 GHz + quad-core 1.5 GHz) processor octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 64 bits with 3 GB of RAM. The phone is encased in an aluminium frame.
The Sony Xperia Z3 + also retains the 20.7 mega-pixel autofocus rear camera of its predecessor. The rear camera but now features 1 / 2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor BSI, Bionz image processor, and an LED flash below. The front camera + Sony Xperia Z3 sports a 5 mega-pixel camera with Exmor R BSI, which is an update to the 2.2-mega-pixel front camera of Xperia Z3. It also features a 25mm wide-angle lens, in addition to electronic image stabilization.
Other features include the Xperia Z3 + certification equivalent IP65 / IP68, which according to Sony makes water resistance and dust-proof phone. Another USP of the device is support for high resolution audio compression technology LDAC. The phone has 32 GB of on-board storage, which is expandable via microSD (up to 128 GB). The Xperia Z3 + is backed by a battery of 2930mAh and fast charge function that provides up to 5.5 hours of use on a charge of 10 minutes and a full charge in 45 minutes.
