Last week, it was announced that the Android 5.1 update for first and second generation of Moto X will start rolling in a week. While the variant of 2013 started receiving in select markets from last week, the 2014 version also started to receive few days ago.
Now the update - dimensioned 440MB - has begun deploying the device Pure edition in the US .. This follows an announcement from Motorola David Schuster who have received approval to begin full deployment of the update the country. For those who are unaware, the unbranded and unlocked version of last year's Moto X is called Pure Edition.
