Oppo launched its new budget smartphone in India named Joy Plus at Rs 6990. The company says the device will soon be available in stores across India, but has not mentioned any specific date.
Oppo Joy Plus dual-SIM features a 4-inch screen with 480 x 800 pixel resolution and pixel density of 245 ppi. It comes powered by MediaTek MT6572 dual core processor at 1.3 GHz with 1 GB of RAM. The 4 GB of on-board storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The device comes with the second generation CMOS sensor stacked Sony camera equipped with a 3 megapixel snapper rear and 0.3MP front camera.
The smartphone running on coloured OS 2.0 based on Android 4.4 and is powered by a 1700mAh Li-Ion removable battery. It measures 124 mm x 63 mm x 9.9 mm and weighs 125 grams. The target unit gets a freeze frame matte gold and pearly back cover. It is also available with a blue back cover and galvanized frame.
