The M2017 phone from Gionee has been waiting for a long time, but everyone has been waiting for an official announcement. However, just in time, the company has released the first official teaser picture of the smartphone now.
Recently, the smartphone was also seen on the China TENAA certification website, which revealed a handful of details about the smartphone. Even before some live images were leaked in Gizmochina. These filtered photos showed that the back of the smartphone will feature a leather body.

TENAA also reveals some specifications that the Gionee M2017 is touted to come with. From the screen, the smartphone is expected to have a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2K (2560 × 1440 pixels). Under the hood will be a 1.95 GHz octa-core processor paired with 6 GB of RAM. There will also be 128 GB of onboard storage, but there is still no word in a microSD card slot.
Among the highlights are the dual rear camera configuration on the back, which includes a pair of 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors with support for 4X optical zoom. There is also an 8 megapixel front camera for video calls and selfie. Another highlight of the phone is that the smartphone will be armed with a massive battery of 7,000mAh, which according to the company will give up to 23 days of battery life. Although there are still no launch details and prices available on the phone.
