Shortly after reports surfaced about Xiaomi working on a new SmartWatch to compete with Apple clock, Xiaomi has now confirmed it is working on a special edition of the note Mi and plans to launch today.
In a post Weibo, Lin Bin, co-founder and president of Xiaomi Mi said the note will be lighter and thinner than the iPhone 6 Plus and have a two-sided curved glass, reports GSMArena. The post also shows a picture of the note E, dated March 17 on it. However, not much is known about the other specifications that make particular the My Note.
. The company has recently launched the My note with your Pro version Mi Note has a 5.7 inch screen - a little larger than the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. It is a full HD display with a pixel density of 386ppi. Like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, the front panel of My Note has a 2.5D curved glass and a rear panel of 3D curved glass.
It features a 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization. Use Sony CMOS sensor, with an aperture of f2.0 for low-light shots. Use a flash dual tone developed by Phillips for more natural colors in the photos.
The My note is powered by a 3,000mAh battery, and comes with dual SIM slots 4G Snapdragon processor and 801 support 3 GB of RAM running. It will be available in 16GB storage options and 64GB and no card slot to increase storage capacity.
Xiaomi announced the 16GB My Note to an official price of 2,299RMB or around Rs 22,900 and the 64GB model of RMB 2,799 (approx. 27,900 rupees). Find out how it stacks up against Apple iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Note 4.
