According to the OnePlus founder Carl Pei, who was seen walking the grounds at MWC, the company will be entering a new category of products next month. What will this new product? Easy guesses, as a SmartWatch or tablet, both have been denied by the executive. But there is still a number of possibilities such as speakers brand, a band gym named OnePlus, or even a smart TV.
And of course, there is still the question of OnePlus A sequel. Pei had previously said in January that the terminal monitor success would "surprise people," although what exactly he meant is still unclear. A smartphone is not a new product category, so we can rule out the OnePlus two at the mystery device.
Pei has indicated that the tablets are not a product you want to start building OnePlus. According to the executive, anyone in the industry is benefiting from the construction of the tablets today thanks to the expansion of sales phablet.
