HTC has been on a launch spree recently and officially brought the 820 Desire and the Desire 820q retailers in India today. Has also launched the HTC Desire 820s in China. The new device has a MediaTek Octa Core 64-bit processor and promises more power than decade old PC lying at home.
The announcement was made on the social networking platform in China, Weibo but no word on when HTC plans to bring the device to other markets such as India. But given his attention to the buyers in the country, it is assumed that they would bring more sooner than later.
Specifications HTC Desire 820s is very similar to the 820 and the company has been launching various models with minor variations. The phone screen 5.5 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and is powered by a 1.7 GHz processor octa-core 64-bit with a decent 2GB of RAM. HTC has also posted a photo on his Weibo account.
The phone has dual SIM card slots with a 13 megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash and a front camera of 8 megapixels. There are 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded via micro SD slot integrated cards. The connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and GPRS. You also get an FM radio for entertainment on the move.
Apart from the HTC Desire 820s, which have also launched several models including Desire 820, 820q Desire, and Action Camera RE. The 820 is priced at Rs. 24,990, while the 820q is priced at Rs. 22,500. Given the moderate price range, we expect the 820s to go on sale at an affordable price with exceptional specifications.
