Shortly after its subsidiary brand, Motorola announced its return in the tablet segment with Moto Tab, Lenovo quietly launched its own Tab 7 in India. The tablet has been listed exclusively on Flipkart and comes in a single black slate tone. The e-commerce website also offers free EMI and an additional 5 percent with Axis Bank Buzz credit cards. the Lenovo Tab 7 can be collected for 9,999 rupees.
Going to the specifications sheet of the device, it is sent with the next-generation Android Nougat 7.0 operating system ready to use. Lenovo has equipped the device with a 6.98-inch screen, which is an IPS panel with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. The performance on the phone is powered by a MediaTek MT8735B / 8161 quad-core processor and 1.3 GHz 64-bit processor, which has been coupled to 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. In addition, the phone comes equipped with the ARM Mali-T720 GPU for graphics performance. There is a microSD card slot in the device to expand on-board storage if necessary.
To obtain images, Lenovo has equipped the tablet with a 5-megapixel main camera with autofocus and a 2-megapixel fixed-focus front camera. The tablet comes equipped with a front speaker compatible with Dolby Atmos. The device absorbs energy from a 3,500 mAh lithium polymer battery. On the connectivity front, there are 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual SIM support.
