Chinese manufacturers were the ones who changed this trend by launching mid-range smartphones with advanced specifications and dual camera configuration even though they were kept at affordable prices. Realizing the competition of China-based OEMs, it seems that Samsung has also resorted to using a similar tactic.
According to a recent posting by Twitter user @mmddj_china, Samsung will implement dual-lens rear camera configuration on a wide range of smartphones. We already know that the Galaxy Note 8, which is the next Samsung star device will have a dual camera array on its back. In addition to this device, the Galaxy A mid-range smart phone line and the Galaxy C smartphone line will also feature dual rear camera modules.
Following rumors and speculation, we know that Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy C10 with a camera arrangement on the back. Some reports have pointed out that the Galaxy C10 could be released before the Galaxy Note 8, making it the first Samsung smartphone to have a dual camera configuration.
If this report turns out to be true, the Samsung Galaxy A and C series smartphones will have a dual camera configuration at the back. With this, the Chinese manufacturers like Oppo and Vivo will have to remain warned. If Samsung takes this road, then certainly set a benchmark for other manufacturers as well as create a new trend.
