Lately, popular leakster Andre Yatim has been leaving clues on many Moto smartphones. Yesterday said Motorola Moto M2, which is the successor to the Moto M last year, will be launched in October 2017. As with all leaks, you should take this with a pinch of salt. We have seen the same leakster come with inaccurate information before. Anyway, returning to Moto M2, is said to be launched in more markets this year. Yatim has also revealed some of the key specifications of the alleged device.
According to his tweet, the Moto M2 will have a 5.5-inch FHD screen as its predecessor. It is believed that the smartphone comes in two memory variants: one with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of default storage and another with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of native storage. Under the hood, the Moto M2 will be powered by a state-of-the-art MediaTek processor. Apart from that, the leakster has not revealed any further specifications.
However, to remind you, recently a phone with the model number Lenovo XT1920-3 was detected in Geekbench. It is presumed that the Lenovo XT1920-3 is none other than the Moto M2. The reference list revealed that the device will be powered by a Helio P20 MediaTek MT6797 Deca-core chipset along with 4 GB of RAM.
On the front of the software, the supposed Moto M2 was included with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. As for the Geekbench results, the XT-1902-03 has scored 1163 on the single-core test, and 4836 for the multi-core test. And we must say that the scores are a big improvement over the Moto M's Geekbench scores of 741 and 2487 respectively.
