Huawei sub-brand Honor launched its new smartphone on Friday in India called Honor 8 Pro. the highlight features on the Honor 8 Pro include a dual camera setup, massive 4000mAh battery and an impressive 6GB of RAM. The smartphone will be available in midnight black and navy blue options in India, when it will be available from the first two weeks of July. The Honor 8 Pro price in India has yet to be revealed.
Speaking of the dual camera setup in the Honor 8 Pro, it sports two 12 megapixel sensors with f / 2.2 aperture, autofocus laser with LED flashlight and 4K video recording. One sensor takes the images in RGB while the other takes them in monochrome. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor for taking selfies as well.
Coming to the specifications of the dual-SIM Honor 8 Pro sports 5.7-inch QHD 1440x2560 pixels LTPS LCD display. It is powered by Kirin 960 4-core Cortex-A53 with 1.8 GHz + 4-core Cortex-A73 clock with 2.4GHz clock along with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It comes with 128 GB of built-in storage that can be further extended by using the microSD card slot hybrid up to 256 GB.
The connectivity options in Honor 8 Pro include 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, USB Type C, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC. The smart phone houses a 4000mAh battery and comes with a fingerprint sensor on the back and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with EMUI 5.1 skin on top.
While the price of the smartphone has not been announced by the company, the Honor 8 Pro was launched with a price of Rs. 39,500 in Europe.
