The Galaxy S8 is great, but the Infinity Display takes away some rigidity. German test.de testers have put Samsung's flagship on their special test drum, and it broke faster than other devices.
The German company has built a unique drum that allows phones to drop 80 centimeters over and over again. This type of fall test challenges the overall durability of the device. According to test.de, most smartphones went through 100 drops without significant damage, just a few scratches or light dents. However, the rounded corners of the S8 galaxy proved to be a weak point.

sThe phone got a glass Gorilla 5 broken after just 50 drops. The touch screen seemed to work well and the back panel looks unscathed, but still something to consider. Test.de suggests that you use a case, but that will take away the premium design feel that is a big part of the Galaxy S8 package. Even so, protecting that Rs 63,500 of investment could be worth it.
