SanDisk on Wednesday launched two new 256GB microSD cards, with one it says is the fastest in its class - the 256GB SanDisk Extreme microSDXC UHS-1. The company also launched along with the 256GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-1 Premium Edition, which is only slightly slower.Both cards will be available worldwide, SanDisk said, with the fastest version Extreme price of Rs. 13,500 and be available in Q4 2016, and the Ultra version at a price of Rs. 10,100 and be available in August.
The company owned by Western Digital said the data transfer rates of 256GB SanDisk Extreme microSDXC UHS-1 offers up to 100 MB / s and write speeds up to 90MB / s. This type of offering is aimed at customers who want to record and store videos 4K. It is estimated that the card SanDisk 256GB Extreme UHS-I microSDXC to store up to 14 hours of footage 4K smartphones or any other camera.
