At an event today in New Delhi, Micromax unveiled its new brand logo and a whopping 15 new smartphones. Among them are two flagships nicknamed the canvas 6 and canvas 6 Pro. The new flagship of the canvas series come with the suite about the services offered by taxis, delivering food, hotels, flights and services shopping on the way.
The Micromax Canvas 6 has a metal design and fingerprint sensor. Full HD boasts a 5.5-inch screen is made, and is powered by an octa-core processor, with 3GB of RAM. There are 32 GB of internal memory on board, which is further expandable via a microSD card. For images, it gets a 13 megapixel shooter primary and secondary 8MP snapper. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, two SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and A-GPS. A 3,000mAh battery fuel device.
The canvas 6 Pro also offers a Full HD 5.5-inch screen, and also receives Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports a 2.0 GHz processor MediaTek octa-core MT6795m Helio, with the help of 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB of expandable storage. It has a rear 13 MP snapper, a 5-megapixel front shooter and 3,000mAh battery. Both smartphones run Android 5.1 Lollipop.
As for pricing, the canvas 6 and 6 Pro canvas are both priced at Rs 13,999, and are available to pre-book on the new electronics store brand from today.
