Samsung introduces Galaxy Tab S2 tablet for Rs 39,400


Korean electronics giant Samsung today announced the launch of what it calls the world's thinnest tablet, the Galaxy Tab S2 here, priced at Rs 39,400.

4G enabled tablet is 5.6mm thin and weighs only 392 grams, company officials said. "The devices will be available in three colors: gold, black and white, and are priced at Rs 39,400 and sales will begin from today," Samsung India Electronics Marketing Director Products Manu Sharma told reporters.

He said: "This product is made in India ... is made outside our plant in Noida." The tablet has an internal memory of 32 GB, expandable up  128 GB.


Tab Galaxy S2 is equipped and pre-loaded with Microsoft Office solutions for maximum productivity on the road, such as creating and editing documents, company officials said, adding that also has a new feature called "Side Sync" said that helps customers replicate and control a smart phone or laptop via the tablet itself.
