Lenovo has unveiled the successor to its A7000 smartphone, named as Lenovo A7000 Plus. The new smartphone has been launched in the Philippines for about Rs 11,400 but there is no information yet on its launch in other markets such as India.
The Lenovo A7000 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen as the A7000 but with full HD (1920x1080 pixels) while the older phone has only HD resolution. The new smartphone has a slightly better 1.7 GHz processor core MediaTek (MT6752) octa against 1.5 GHz Chipset MT6752m the A7000. Lollipop has the Android operating system also.
Also, while the older phone only has 8GB of built-in storage, the new model has 16 GB of internal memory while providing a slot for expandable storage. The Lenovo A7000 Plus also offers better 13-megapixel camera and a front camera of 5 megapixels, while the Lenovo A7000 has a front camera of 8 megapixel and 5-megapixel rear.
In addition, the Lenovo A7000 Plus offers a 3000 mAh battery, 4G connectivity, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, dual SIM, micro USB port and Dolby Atmos sound technology. The biggest A7000 has the same connectivity features, but 2900 mAh battery smaller. The measures 152.6x76.2x7.99mm mobile phone and weighs 140 grams.
