Yesterday AT & T began deploying the update to Android 5.0 Lollipop for Samsung Galaxy S4. A bit strange was the fact that the new Galaxy S5 had not yet received the Android version bump at the time, and usually older devices get updates later than their successors. Regardless, AT & T is doing well by the owners of the units of the Galaxy S5 bought from their stores. The Android 5.0 update Lollipop is now officially on the way to AT & T's Galaxy S5 too.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop update is a size of 1.4GB download quite strong, so you must use Wi-Fi to get it. This is, of course, if you have been notified of their availability. If that has not happened yet, do not worry - it will do in a few days, since the deployment is staged.
If you can not expect much, you are able to manually check the update, go to Settings> System> About phone> Software update.
After applying the update will run Android 5.0 Lollipop, build LRX21T.G900AUCU3BOC4. According to AT & T notes for this version, we added anything specific carrier. Each new to look after the upgrade is part of the interpretation of Samsung Android Lollipop.
