HTC has no plan's to release One M9+ in Europe and US

Today, HTC announced two new smartphones of the brand, both Quad HD displays, and both ready to be sold in China: One E9 +, and the One M9 + (aka One M9 Plus). The latter is obviously a slightly larger version of the One M9, with the same metal monocoque design.

What is different is that the M9 + One features a 5.2 inch screen with 1440 x 2560 pixels (1080p unlike the 5-inch screen of the M9) a physical home button that includes a fingerprint scanner, Duo rear camera, and octa-core 2.2 GHz processor MediaTek MT6795T.

But the M9 + will be a China-only device? Well, the phone may be available in other markets (unspecified), but the US, Canada and Europe are not among them.

HTC said "Unique M9 + currently not expected to be released in North America or Europe, where we believe our HTC flagship One M9 is the best choice for ultra-fast performance, amazing sound, and network support through the widest range of operators. "

So it seems that HTC is not yet ready to launch a Quad HD handset in the US, although rivals like Samsung, LG, Motorola and all have these devices on sale. Or maybe HTC is preparing a surprise for later this year?
