While some smartphone manufacturers are trying to decrease the time between the release of their flagship devices, Motorola has confirmed that adhere to a flagship year. Rick Osterloh, President of Motorola revealed during a Q & A on Twitter that the company plans to launch its next flagship device 2015 Moto X sometime around September.
However, no further details about the upcoming device have been revealed. There are already plenty of speculation about the upcoming flagship Motorola. It is likely that comes equipped with the latest generation Snapdragon 810 chipset. There is also the possibility of using the smart phone 815 or a variant 820 in place.
Given the Moto X 2014 was launched by the second generation of Moto G, there is also the possibility that Motorola is working on his successor to be released in September.
The Moto X 2nd generation specifications comes equipped with a 2.5GHz SoC Snapdraon 801, 2GB of RAM, 5.2-inch display with full HD resolution, 13MP rear snapper and 2,300mAh battery.
