Lenovo Launched A6000 smartphone with LTE support in India at Rs 6,999

Lenovo has launched the A6000 budget smartphone in India today, priced at Rs 6999. First launched in India, which will be sold exclusively at Flipkart. Registration begins today and will close on January 27, at 18:00.

The Lenovo A6000 features a 720p HD 5-inch screen and is powered by a 64-bit, 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad core processor along with 1GB of RAM.

The A6000 is a dual SIM smartphone that supports LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, and weighs 128 grams. The Lenovo A6000 comes with stereo speakers, working in the Dolby Digital Plus technology.

The smartphone has an expandable to 32 GB internal memory of 8 GB. It has an 8MP rear camera with a viewing angle of 178 degrees. There is also a 2MP front camera.

Android 4.4 KitKat, which looks Vibe 2.0 UI skin. It comes preloaded with music application Guvera too. The device comes with a 2,300mAh battery that Lenovo claims can provide up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 11.5 days standby.

The price puts it against tough opponents including Xiaomi Redmi Note and Micromax Yu Yureka, who currently runs the show between budget smartphones that can only be purchased online.

The sale will go live on January 28th at 14:00 on Flipkart and, similar to the Xiaomi devices, the Lenovo A6000 only be available to those who have registered on Flipkart.
