Asus has begun to implement Android 7.1.1 Update of nougat for smartphones Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Zoom. The Zenfone 3 Laser upgrade is coming in as V30.41.12.1, while the Zenfone 3 Zoom update is packaged as V20.31.49.2.
With the V20.31.49.2 version, Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom gets new camera features and some native Nougat features. The Zenfone 3 Zoom camera now supports portrait mode similar to the one found on Apple's iPhone 7 Plus. The changelog also points to improved camera performance and RAW capture support along with corrections to some known bugs, reports the Android Police. Other changes to the Zenfone 3 Zoom software include Google Now and Google Assistant built into the ZenUI launcher. There is also a customizable quick fix that eliminates third-party applications.
